Position: WHSE Regional Manager

RJE Global is seeking an experienced WHSE Regional Manager to join our growing Safety team. Reporting to the Senior WHSE Manager, you will support WHSE operations across multiple project sites. Regularly visiting these sites to oversee, review, enhance safety practices and awareness. Ensure the project site safety team and supervisors are meeting the company’s WHSE procedural and regulatory obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure WHS&E; legislation, policies, procedures and management systems are implemented and maintained across project sites.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure appropriate controls are implemented.
- Investigate incidents, near misses and hazards, ensuring corrective actions are identified, tracked and effectively closed out.
- Maintain WHS&E; registers, documentation, training records, licences, certifications and compliance records.
- Provide WHS&E; advice, guidance and support to Project Managers, Safety Advisors, Safety Representatives, employees and subcontractors.
- Develop and deliver WHS&E; training, safety initiatives, alerts, briefings and educational programs for project personnel.
- Monitor and report on project WHS&E; performance,
including preparing monthly reports and identifying key trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
- Assist with the development and review of SWMS, risk assessments, project management plans, tender documentation and other WHS&E; requirements.
- Monitor subcontractor WHS&E; compliance and ensure alignment with RJE Global’s WHS&E; management systems and legislative requirements.
Required:
- Certificate IV in WHS
- Provide First Aid & CPR Qualification
- Drug & Alcohol Collector Training
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong understanding of WHSE documentation used in construction projects
- Demonstrated organisational skills and ability to work to tight schedules
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Methodical, accurate, and detail-oriented work approach
- Construction White Card
- Drivers Licence
Highly Regarded Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma in WHS
- Cert IV in Training & Assessing
- ICAM Lead Investigator Training or equivalent
- Experience working on heavy industrial construction sites and in remote locations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to liaise with all levels of the company
- Previous FIFO WHSE Advisor experience within the construction industry
