HSEQ Coordinator

Full Time | 12 Month FTC | Brisbane

Freightquip is an Australian owned and operated business with more than 25 years' experience supplying and supporting specialised equipment across the Aviation, Rail and Ports industries throughout Australia and New Zealand.

We're looking for an experienced HSEQ Coordinator to support our Health, Safety, Environment and Quality activities across the business.

This is a varied, hands-on position suited to someone with experience in WHS, HSEQ, Safety or Quality who enjoys working with operational teams and wants the opportunity to make a practical contribution to safety and continuous improvement.

The Role

Working closely with management and our operational teams, you'll be involved in:

- Coordinating day-to-day HSEQ activities and compliance requirements.

- Maintaining HSEQ systems, registers and documentation.

- Supporting incident reporting and investigations.

- Coordinating risk assessments, workplace inspections and corrective actions.

- Supporting ISO management systems and audit activities.

- Monitoring employee, contractor and training compliance.

- Assisting with HSEQ inductions, training and communications.

- Supporting customer and site-specific safety requirements.

- Providing practical HSEQ support to managers and employees.

- Contributing to continuous improvement across the business.

The role will provide exposure to a diverse range of operations across our Aviation, Rail and Ports businesses.

About You

We're looking for someone who is practical, organised and confident working with people across different levels of an organisation.

Ideally, you'll have:

- Previous experience in WHS, HSEQ, Safety, Quality or a similar role.





- A good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.

- Strong communication and organisational skills.

- Confidence working with operational teams and managers.

- Experience with incident management, risk assessments, audits or compliance.

- A proactive and practical approach to safety.

- Relevant WHS/HSEQ qualifications or studies.
