Employment with Mid North Coast LHD requires candidates to hold a valid authority to work in Australia (Aust Work Rights Visa).

What you'll be doing
Provide triage, assessment, intervention and response to meet the Mental Health needs of person in the community, the community sector and primary care partners when they encounter mental health problems.

To work collaboratively with other service providers/agencies to promote assertive and timely service delivery for clients in the provision of holistic evidence based care in accordance to MNCLHD and Ministry of Health policies and directive.

About You
You are a compassionate and skilled mental health skilled with recognised qualifications in occupational therapy, social work, nursing, counselling, mental health, or a related discipline. Committed to delivering high-quality, recovery-oriented care, you bring experience in providing specialist mental health assessment, crisis intervention, care coordination, consultation, and liaison services to individuals experiencing complex mental health challenges.

You have a strong understanding of contemporary mental health practice and apply evidence-based approaches to assess, manage, and support people with a range of mental health needs. Your ability to build therapeutic relationships and engage consumers, families, carers, and service providers contributes to positive recovery outcomes and person-centred care planning.

A collaborative and adaptable practitioner,



you work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and maintain productive partnerships with key stakeholders to ensure coordinated and responsive service delivery. You are recognised for your strong communication, time management, and organisational skills, enabling you to manage competing demands while maintaining accurate documentation and high professional standards.

Confident in the use of NSW Health systems and a range of digital platforms, you utilise technology to support efficient clinical practice and information management. With a commitment to continuous improvement and consumer-focused care, you bring professionalism, resilience, and a genuine passion for supporting individuals on their recovery journey. Holding a current driver's licence and a willingness to travel as required, you are flexible in meeting the needs of both consumers and the service.
