About the role

Builtrite Scaffolding Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor based within the Central Coast Region to join our dynamic scaffolding team in Sydney, NSW. This is a full-time position that offers you the opportunity to lead and oversee scaffolding operations on various construction sites across the Sydney region. As Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards whilst managing teams and maintaining compliance with industry regulations. Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage scaffolding teams on site, ensuring all personnel work safely and in accordance with company standards and industry regulations

- Conduct daily site inspections to verify that scaffolding installations meet engineering specifications and safety requirements

- Coordinate with project managers, clients and other trade contractors to ensure seamless site operations and communication

- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying any delays or issues and implementing corrective actions

- Maintain comprehensive site documentation including timesheets, safety records, incident reports and daily logs

- Conduct tool box talks and safety briefings to ensure all team members understand site-specific hazards and protocols

- Manage inventory and equipment on site, ensuring all scaffolding materials are properly stored and accounted for

- Identify training needs for team members and facilitate professional development opportunities

- Enforce company policies and procedures, including health, safety and environmental standards

- Liaise with clients regarding project requirements, timelines and any modifications to scope of work

What We're Looking For





- Minimum 5 years' experience in scaffolding supervision or a related construction supervisory role

- In-depth knowledge of scaffolding systems, installation techniques and safety standards applicable to the construction industry

- Strong understanding of relevant Australian work health and safety legislation, including the Work Health and Safety Act

- Current relevant safety certifications such as White Card (General Construction Induction), High Risk Work Licence (Advanced Scaffolding), Working at Heights and First Aid certification

- Proven experience in leading and motivating teams in a fast-paced construction environment

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors and team members

- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail

- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, plans and engineering specifications

- Experience with site management software and basic computer literacy an advantage

- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing site conditions and project demands

- A proactive approach to health and safety with demonstrated commitment to zero-harm practices
