Landscape Labourers & Leading Hands

Interface Landscapes is seeking Landscape Labourers and Leading Hands to join our construction teams delivering high-quality commercial landscaping projects across South East Queensland.

You’ll work alongside experienced Foremen and crews on a diverse range of projects, in a business that values safety, teamwork, quality workmanship and career development.

- Head office located in Darra, with projects sites located from North Brisbane (Caboolture) to West Brisbane (Ripley), through to the Gold Coast (Worongary) and everywhere in between.

About the Role

These roles involve hands-on landscape construction work across a range of softscape and hardscape activities. Leading Hands will also assist Project Formean in crew supervision responsibilities.

Responsibilities – All Positions

- Carry out landscape construction works as directed by the Foreman

- Assist with site establishment, set-out and preparation works

- Installation and construction of softscape and hardscape landscaping elements

- Operate tools, plant and equipment safely and in accordance with site requirements

- Maintain a clean, safe and organised worksite at all times





- Work collaboratively with team members to meet project programs and quality standards

Additional Responsibilities – Leading Hands

- Support the Foreman with day-to-day site operations including supervision of labourers and subcontractors, and coordination of tasks

- Experience in landscape construction

- Willingness to learn and follow direction

- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety

- Ability to work outdoors in a team environment

Leading Hands

- Ability to lead and coordinate small teams

- Good understanding of construction drawings and site plans

- Strong communication and organisational skills
