GENERAL HAND

(Offsite Receipting)

In this role, you will perform a variety of tasks to support the day-to-day operations of our facility. You will work both independently and as part of a small, tight-knit team to ensure the efficient and safe handling of goods.

What will you be doing:
Building Flats & Side ups
Unloading and loading trucks
Unloading and loading containers
Load restraint
Wrapping and strapping freight for travel
Keeping the shed and yard organised
Breaking down pallets
Checking and verifying the contents of individual orders
Labelling and recording the process
Building and consolidating mixed pallets which requires a lot of manual handling

What we require from you:
Valid forklift operator's license (Ideally)
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Able to work early shifts
Ability to work in hot and dusty she environment




Positive communication skills and a positive attitude.
