Our client are a well‑established injection moulding company based in Preston with over 60 years of industry experience. Operating 25 moulding machines across both custom moulding and packaging sectors, they run a 24‑hour operation across a 5‑day week.

We are seeking a hard‑working, self‑motivated individual to join their team as an experienced technician.

This hands‑on role is critical to supporting their production operations, ensuring moulds (dies) are producing parts to the highest quality standard along with aligning to cycle time targets while keeping rejects to a minimum.

Day shift hours: 7:00am – 3:30pm

Key Responsibilities

Starting of jobs and submitting first off samples

Ability to do colour and material changes

Performing machine setup, calibration, and adjustments to meet production specifications

Working closely with production teams to meet output and quality targets





Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with operational procedures

Operating across a wide rangeof moulding machines (25T t 1300T)

Keeping machines already in production running

About You

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Packaging experience desirable

IML (in mould labelling) experience desirable

Robotics experience desirable

Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities

Solid communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team

A proactive, self‑motivated approach and ability to work semi‑unsupervised

Forklift licence (desirable, notessential)

Commitment to safety and quality processes

HACCP experience (desirable, not essential)
