Our client is delivering a major infrastructure construction project and is seeking a Site Engineer to coordinate the internal fit out works through to completion.
This is a hands-on coordination role covering a broad scope of fit out trades, including glazing, cladding, tiling, jiprock/plasterboard, and other internal finishes. You'll be working closely with subcontractors, the site team, and project management to keep the fit out program on track and to the required quality standard.
The Role
Coordinate and sequence fit out trades across glazing, cladding, tiling, jiprock and associated finishes
Manage subcontractor programs, quality, and site coordination to keep fit out works on schedule
Liaise with the broader site team on staging, access, and interface issues between trades
Monitor quality, compliance, and defect rectification through to handover
Support day today site engineering functions as required
About You
Previous experience as a Site Engineer on commercial building fit out / Infrastruture / transport projects
Robust understanding of fit out trade sequencing and coordination
Comfortable managing multiple trades and interfaces on a live construction site
Available and open to working on a contract basis
Infrastructure or transport project experience highly regarded but not essential
