POSITION DESCRIPTION – Laundry Attendants

Key Responsibilities:
Sort, wash, dry, fold and iron all laundry items according to established procedures and guidelines.
Inspect all laundry items for damage or stains before washing and report any issues to the supervisor.




Ensure that all laundry equipment is maintained and cleaned on a regular basis.
Keep stock of laundry supplies and report any shortages to the Team Leader
Assist with the organisation and storage of clean laundry items.
Maintain a clean and organised work area.
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.

You will need:
Previous experience in a commercial laundry, but not required.
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK FROM 6.00am -2.00pm & 2.00pm-10.00pm ON A ROTATING ROSTER.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 20kg.
Attention to detail and ability to work in a quick-paced environment.
Solid communication skills and able to work well in a team.
Basic computer skills.
Must be reliable and honest

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $32.00 – $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 38.0 per week
