Procurement Assistant

Day & Night Healthcare is a growing national company, delivering to residential aged care, medical facilities and the community across the country and provides a comprehensive range of wound care, continence, nutritional and personal care products.

We're looking for an organised and proactive Procurement Assistant to join our Procurement team. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, likes staying on top of details, and wants to build a career in procurement and supply chain.

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you'll play a key role in keeping our purchasing running smoothly — from raising orders to chasing up suppliers and keeping customers informed on backorders.

We are open to concluding University applicants who may wish to kick-start their career before graduating (i.e. beginning with a part time schedule before moving into Full time position at conclusion of studies).

What You'll Be Doing




Raising routine Purchase Orders with approved suppliers
Following up on supplier ETAs, shortages and outstanding orders
Managing the day-to-day customer backorder process
Maintaining accurate purchasing and supplier records
Handling purchasing admin, including the purchasing inbox and credit card purchases
Assisting with stock adjustments and current product/item setup
Providing purchasing coverage and support to the wider team
