Explore & Develop Rhodes is a brand current early childhood education and care service currently looking for a passionate and skilled cook/kitchen hand to join our team. Our kitchen is the heart of our Centre where beautiful interactions with children, families and educators are encouraged. We have up to 82 children per day and provide morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack.

Essential Criteria:
Previous experience in cooking & preparing nutritious meals in a similar role desirable – childcare centre, aged care or similar environment
Experience in providing allergy-safe food
Current Working with Children Check
Food Safety Supervisor Course qualification or willingness to obtain

Menu planning experience

About the role:
Prepare healthy & nutritious meals for morning tea, lunch,



afternoon tea & late snack for up to 82 children each day, including the preparation of purees and special diet meals.
Menu planning, in accordance with the centre’s nutrition policy and guidelines.
Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen & clean up after meals.
Help to purchase kitchen and centre consumables, including food supplies and cleaning chemicals.
Work in a brand current, large, commercial kitchen.
