Overview:

Limestone Coast Energy Park Project – BESS & Substation Construction Project. The location of the energy park site is adjacent to the South-East Electrical Substation 10kms outside of Mount Gambier, SA.

The role of Electrical Trades Assistant supports the Limestone Coast Energy Park Project by safely assisting with electrical and construction works, and undertaking general labouring duties.
Assist electricians with the installation, maintenance and commissioning of electrical systems, equipment and infrastructure.
Prepare, handle and install cables, conduits, cable trays and electrical components in accordance with project requirements.
Maintained site safety by following SWMS, conducting housekeeping activities and ensuring compliance with WHS procedures.
Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools and site equipment while supporting daily construction activities.




Loaded, unloaded and managed materials, equipment and deliveries to ensure effective workflow and project productivity.

Requirements
Construction White Card – CPCCWHS1001.
Current Drivers License
Previous experience assisting electricians on construction, industrial, commercial or infrastructure projects.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools and basic electrical installation equipment safely and effectively.
Solid understanding of workplace health, safety and environmental requirements, including White Card accreditation.
Physically fit and capable of performing manual handling, lifting, cable pulling and general site duties.
Good communication skills with the ability to follow instructions, work as part of a team and support project deadlines.
