Breakfast Chef – Full-Time

Sundowner Hotel Motel | No Night Shifts!

The Sundowner Hotel Motel is looking for a reliable and motivated Breakfast Chef to independently manage and deliver our breakfast buffet offering.

This full-time role is ideal for an early riser who enjoys working independently and wants the chance to take ownership of the breakfast service. You’ll have the freedom to bring recent ideas to the offering while continuing to work closely with the Head Chef.

What you’ll be doing:
Independently preparing, setting up and delivering the breakfast buffet;
Ensuring buffet items are fresh, well presented and replenished throughout service;
Managing morning preparation and kitchen operations;
Maintaining consistent food quality, presentation and portion standards;
Completing stock rotation, ordering and preparation as required;
Maintaining a clean,



organised and compliant kitchen; and
Working with the Head Chef to develop and improve the breakfast offering.

What we’re looking for:
A qualified Chef is preferred; however, this is not essential for someone with the right skills and experience;
Reliable, punctual, motivated and well presented;
Confident working independently and taking ownership of the breakfast service;
Robust time management and organisational skills;
Pride in food quality, cleanliness and presentation;
Availability to work weekends; and
A positive attitude and interest in growing the breakfast offering.
