The Montessori Preschool of Sydney Zetland is a purpose-built Montessori child care centre in Zetland NSW. We pride ourselves on bringing an authentic Montessori learning approach to ensure every child meets their full potential in every aspect of their development – Social, Emotional, Physical, Cognitive and Communication.About the roleWe are looking for a motivated and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to work with us on a full time basis. You will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Working in a classroom setting
Developing effective relationships with parents including opportunities to discuss and understand the child’s individual progress




Encouraging parents to become involved with centre initiatives
Ensuring the room is well-organised, and attractive prepared environment consistent with Montessori pedagogy
Ensuring that the centre is compliant with all State Legislation and National Quality Standards.
Attending staff meetings and professional development sessions

Key Selection Criteria
At least two years of relevant and recent work experience
Exceptional communication skills
Work as part of a team
Cert 3 in Early childhood Education and care or working towards relevant qualification
Child protection training
Strong understanding of child protection, child secure practices and your role as an educator.
A genuine passion for working with children

Job Type: Full time

Pay: Up to $70,460.00 per year
