Night shift role: midnight – ~8:00 AM. Paid 6–8 week training (casual, ~20–30 hrs/week) with on‑site assessment, then transition to permanent part‑time and hours will increase to match competency. This is a safety‑critical, technical pool service role servicing commercial pools, gym hot & cold recovery pools, shopping centre water features, kids’ wading pools and waterparks. Excellent spoken English and robust attention to detail are essential.
Key responsibilities
Net, vacuum and scrub pools; hose down and clean water features and waterpark areas.
Follow detailed instruction sheets and safety procedures exactly.
Perform basic equipment checks and report faults promptly.
Maintain accurate job records and communicate clearly with supervisors and clients.
Work independently once assessed competent; attend briefings during training.
Qualifications and requirements
Very valuable spoken English and strong comprehension; explicit verbal communication required.
Current Australian car licence (essential). Use of your own car required during the 6–8 week training period; fuel card supplied.
Reliable, punctual, focused and safety‑minded.
Above‑average practical skills and ability to think on your feet while following procedures.
Physically fit for manual outdoor work and comfortable with overnight/early morning shifts.
Willingness to learn and progress to a Commercial Pool Technician.
Not suitable for applicants whose experience is limited to general janitorial tasks (mopping, toilets, basic cleaning).
Pay: From $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
