Trade Assistant – Learn, Grow & Get Hands-On

Exciting opportunity for someone who wants to learn, develop their skills and build a career in the trades.

We’re looking for a Trade Assistant to join our busy workshop team.
This is more than just a job — it’s an chance to get your hands dirty, work alongside experienced tradespeople and learn something recent every day.

What you’ll be doing You’ll be involved in a wide variety of workshop tasks, supporting our tradespeople and learning along the way. Your day-to-day work may include:
Assisting tradespeople with workshop and job-site tasks
Preparing tools, equipment and materials
Learning to operate the robotic welding machine
General workshop duties and keeping the workspace organised




Cleaning, maintaining and looking after tools and equipment
Learning how to use different tools, machinery and equipment safely

We’re looking for someone who is:
Reliable, punctual and willing to get stuck in
Practical and enjoys working with their hands
Keen to learn recent skills and develop their knowledge
Comfortable working as part of a team
Safety-conscious and takes pride in their work
Able to follow instructions and ask questions when unsure
Physically fit and comfortable working in a workshop environment
