Our client is a well‑established injection moulding company based in Preston with over 60 years of industry experience. Operating 25 moulding machines across both custom moulding and packaging sectors, we run a 24‑hour operation across a 5‑day week

We are seeking a hard‑working, self‑motivated individual to join our team as a Die Setter. We welcome applications from experienced die setters as well as mechanically minded individuals who are keen to learn and develop within this specialised trade.

This hands‑on role is critical to supporting our production operations, ensuring moulds (dies) are set up, maintained, and running efficiently to meet production and quality targets.

Key Reponsibilities
Installing and removing moulds (dies) on injection moulding machines
Performing machine setup, calibration, and adjustments to meet production specifications




Working closely with production teams to meet output and quality targets
Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with operational procedures
Operating across a wide range of moulding machines (25T t 1300T)

About You
Experience as a Die Setter or within plastics/manufacturing (prefered but not essential)
Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn recent skills quickly
Ability to read and intepret technical drawings
Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
A proactive, self‑motivated approach and abilit to work semi‑unsupervised
Forklift licence (desirable, not essential)
Commitment to safety and quality processes
HACCP experiece (desirable, not essential)
