We're looking for hands-on people who enjoy practical work, problem-solving and life in the outback with a robust focus on maintenance, infrastructure and general property improvements.

Our client is seeking reliable and practical Rural Maintenance Hands to join their operation working throughout the Barkly Region of the Northern Territory. These positions suit people who enjoy working outdoors and have experience in welding, fencing, construction, yard building, machinery repairs or general labouring.

This is a varied role where you'll be responsible for maintaining station infrastructure and supporting day-to-day operations. While the primary focus is maintenance work, there will also be prospects to assist with livestock and station activities when required.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Constructing, repairing and maintaining fencing.
Building and upgrading cattle yards and station infrastructure.
Welding, fabrication and general repair work.
Performing general maintenance across the property.
Operating tools, equipment and station machinery.
Assisting with water infrastructure maintenance.




Supporting livestock operations and cattle work as required.
Contributing to ongoing station improvement projects.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
Experience in rural maintenance, fencing, welding, construction, labouring or similar practical roles.
Ability to work safely and efficiently with minimal supervision.
Strong work ethic and willingness to take ownership of tasks.
Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors.
Valuable problem-solving skills and a practical approach to work.
Previous station experience is an advantage but not essential.
