Position Summary:

On behalf of our client, Global Skilled Employment Services is seeking a Livestock Strategy & Market Analyst to join the Livestock Strategy / Lamb Desk team. This role will provide specialised analytical and information-management support to assist commercial and livestock decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
Analyse livestock, sales, pricing and market performance data.
Develop econometric and quantitative models to support forecasting and livestock strategy.
Conduct market share, competitor and livestock procurement analysis.
Analyse purchasing channels, pricing trends and producer information.
Prepare management reports, presentations and commercial insights.
Monitor competitor pricing,



processing capacity and market positioning.
Identify trends and prospects and provide recommendations to management.
Support improvements to livestock reporting and business intelligence systems.

About You

You will have solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in commercial analytics, livestock/agricultural analysis, market intelligence, econometric modelling, business intelligence or information management.

A relevant tertiary qualification in Economics, Agricultural Economics, Business, Data Analytics, Information Management, Statistics, Finance or a related discipline is desirable. Experience within the livestock, agriculture, protein or meat-processing sector will be highly regarded.
