About the role

JD Galea Painting Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable, experienced and motivated Qualified Painter to join our growing team on a full-time basis. The successful applicant will work across residential and commercial painting projects, delivering high-quality finishes while maintaining qualified standards and excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities
Complete residential and commercial painting projects to a high standard
Prepare surfaces including sanding, filling, patching and priming
Apply paints, coatings and finishes using brushes, rollers and spray equipment
Maintain a clean, safe and organised worksite
Follow project specifications and painting systems
Communicate professionally with clients, builders and other trades
Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Maintain company tools and equipment

About you
Relevant painting qualification or proven industry experience
Minimum 2 years' painting experience preferred




Strong knowledge of surface preparation and painting techniques
Ability to produce high-quality finishes
Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Reliable, punctual and professional attitude
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valuable communication and customer service skills
Current driver's licence preferred
White Card preferred
