Workfast is seeking experienced Excavator Operators for Shutdown FIFO projects. We have multiple vacancies available for operators with proven experience operating large excavators on major structural removal and demolition projects.
$61/hr flat rate

What We’re Looking For
Minimum 2 years experience operating excavators in shutdown, structural removal or demolition
Relevant RII competency for excavator operation
Proven experience with rock breakers, hammers and demolition equipment
Strong safety focus and commitment to teamwork
Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced workplace
White Card and current Driver’s Licence

Key Responsibilities
Operate an excavator safely and efficiently to perform structural removal
Complete controlled demolition and dismantling works
Sort heavy materials, manage demolition waste, and efficiently load haul trucks
Conduct pre-start checks, report defects,



and ensure machinery is maintained to a high standard
Follow all site safety, environmental, and operational procedures
Work closely with supervisors and other operators to ensure project deadlines are met
Maintain work areas to safe operating standards

What’s On Offer
$61 per hour flat rate
FIFO swing 3 weeks on, 1 week off (3:1 roster)
