THE POSITION
Food preparation and cooking
Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, safety, infection control, and cleanliness in accordance with Compass standards
Providing friendly customer service
Function catering and large-volume cooking
Stocktaking and inventory control
Ensuring HACCP compliance, food safety procedures, and adherence to OH&S; regulations
General kitchen and cleaning duties as required

THE PERSON
Minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent Chef trade qualification)
Experience in bulk cooking
Proven experience delivering high-quality catering for meetings, events, and functions
Highly organised,



energetic, and hands-on leader
Passionate about healthy and nutritious food, with robust knowledge of food safety and allergen management compliance
Experience working in functions and large-volume kitchens
Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
Sound understanding of OH&S; regulations, food safety requirements, and HACCP compliance
