About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior .
NET Developer (Technical Lead) to lead application sustainment, enhancement, and support activities for a suite of mission-critical engineering applications operating within a highly secure environment.
This role is ideal for a hands-on technical leader who enjoys solving complex technical issues, driving application improvements, and ensuring the ongoing reliability, security, and compliance of enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Level 3 and Level 4 application support activities, including code-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
Design and deliver major application enhancements within a structured Waterfall development methodology.
Maintain application security accreditation and configuration in line with Information Security Manual (ISM) requirements.
Coordinate end-to-end software releases, ensuring appropriate testing, approval, and deployment controls are followed.




Manage high-priority incidents and provide timely resolution of critical production issues.
Maintain and update technical documentation, including architecture and system design artefacts.
Provide technical leadership and guidance across application lifecycle activities.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong expertise in
.NET Framework
,
.NET Core
, and
C#
development.
Extensive experience supporting and developing enterprise applications in Microsoft technology environments.
Strong knowledge of
IIS
and Windows Server-based web application hosting.
Proven experience across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Demonstrated experience working within structured Waterfall delivery frameworks.
Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience supporting business-critical systems in secure or regulated environments.
Mandatory Requirements
Active AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance
is essential.
Ability to work full-time onsite in
Laverton, Melbourne
.
Australian Citizenship required due to the security-cleared nature of the environment.
