The Role:
This is an amazing opportunity to join a reputable, family focused early learning centre in the beautiful, vibrant area of the Yarra Valley as a Room Leader.
We are looking for an experienced Room Leader for the nursery or toddler room who has experience leading a team and creating exciting and fun activities for children.
As a Diploma Qualified Room Leader, you will take charge in the planning and implementation of interactive, nurturing and child led learning activities that reflect the EYLF & NQF.
You will be working in collaboration with the qualified educators in the room to create a protected, rewarding,



and tranquil environment for children to take their first step away from their parents.
Being the next role model for nursery aged children to learn social skills in addition to independence.

The Room Leader we're looking for:
You are someone who values building relationships with not only the children, but their families and the community.
Someone who believes in advocating for children's voices and has a strong understanding of the EYLF & VEYLDF.




As well as how to implement the frameworks into your planning and everyday learning.
You must have strong leadership skills, as well as experience working and supporting and training educators, and love engaging and creating activities that support with the development of children.
Ideally you will have at least 2 years of experience working as a Room Leader.
To apply for this role as the Room Leader, you must hold:
Diploma in Early Childhood as a minimum or ACECQA equivalent
Current WWCC (Employee) / VIT
First Aids, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Certificate
Strong knowledge of the EYLF and NQS
Mandatory Reporting
2 Revelant Referees from Early Childhood
Current Working rights in Australia (Visa holders must have 12+ months on their curren visa)
