Salary: $100,847 - $109,163 p.a. plus 17% super (pro rata for part time)

What you will deliver
Identify and track grant opportunities, maintaining an up-to-date Institute grants calendar, and working with academics to repurpose application materials for new funding opportunities.
Coordinate Institute research activities in alignment with strategic priorities and academic research strengths.
Partner with researchers to develop compliant applications, including narratives, budgets and supporting documentation.
Coordinate approvals, submissions and award acceptances, ensuring alignment with University and funding body requirements.
Provide post-award support for ARC and other grants, working closely with colleagues in Chancelry Research and Enterprise and Business Services in managing variations, reporting and project closure.
Contribute to grant performance reporting and Institute communications, including donor updates and annual reports.
Qualifications
Hold tertiary qualifications in communications, professional writing, conservation, heritage or a related discipline.
Demonstrate a strong record of successful grant writing within a research or university environment.




Understand grant agreement management processes and compliance requirements for diverse funding schemes.
Exercise analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex guidelines and identify funding opportunities.
Manage competing deadlines and varied workloads while maintaining high accuracy, literacy and attention to detail.
Use advanced technological skills across multiple systems to support grants administration and reporting.
