Our client is a leading civil contractor and is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Civil Estimator to join their team based close to Geelong.
About the Role
Lead, mentor and develop a team of four estimators
Price complex and wide-ranging civil construction projects
Build costs from the ground up using first-principles estimating
Work closely with delivery teams to ensure practical and accurate pricing
Identify project risks, opportunities and construction methodology
Attend and lead client meetings and presentations
Take ownership of the estimating function and contribute to tender strategy
About You
Strong civil estimating experience across complex projects
Excellent first-principles estimating skills
Strong knowledge of construction methodology and project delivery
Experience with Expert Estimator and Bluebeam
Strong programming knowledge
3D modelling experience such as Adtect is advantageous
Excellent client-facing and communication skills
Previous leadership or team management experience
