About the opportunity
Are you looking for a rewarding career that aims to help others access support and achieve their goals?
As our new Support Coordinator, your main focus will be to work alongside and support people in our community who are living with a disability.
You will partner with service participants with a focus on offering capacity building support; specifically to assist in strengthening a participant's ability to design, manage, and ultimately control their supports, recognising each person's inherent ability to exercise choice and control.
This is a role in which you will be helping participants develop relationships, build skills and establish support networks in line with their own goals to ensure they are fully supported and empowered on their journey towards recovery.
An opportunity exists for this role to being a part time role for the right candidate to fit your best work / life balance.

Role Details
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Certificate IV in preferred course, or above
Demonstrated experience in working with people living with a disability or mental health
Available to participate in out of hours activities, as required, to deliver on key role requirements and outcomes
The right to work in Australia and a current, valid Driver's License
Satisfactory National Police Check, Working with Children Check (Employee) and NDIS Worker Screening Check
NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
Benefits & Salary
Permanent part-time 30.4 hours prospect with access to ongoing training and development
SCHADS 3B ($*****) +Salary packaging up to $15,899 + 17.5% annual leave loading

Job Description Summary
The Support Coordinator is responsible for the delivery of NDIS funded Support Coordination.
Support Coordination is a capacity building support specifically provided to NDIS participants to assist in strengthening a participant's ability to design, manage, and ultimately control their supports, recognising each participant's inherent ability to exercise choice and control.
