What role will you play?

You will lead and contribute to business-critical projects, ensuring the quality of architecture and engineering from initial concept through to implementation.
You will design and build clean, efficient, robust, and secure solutions that align with our business goals and future-state architecture.
As part of a team that owns the solution end-to-end, you will also share responsibility for improving quality, driving innovation, and delivering impactful outcomes.
With experience in a similar architecture and engineering leadership role, you will have an agile mindset and an impressive track record in building customer-focused software solutions.
To be successful, you should be a bold, collaborative,
and empathetic architect with a strong commercial focus and a continuous learning mindset.
You will engage with business heads to understand and influence strategy while actively keeping your knowledge of emerging technologies and wealth/advice industry trends up to date.
What you offer

Proven software engineering experience in designing, implementing, and managing digital omni-channel financial service solutions.
Deeply conversant with cloud-native applications, modern integrations strategies( and their implications) and experience in optimising/refactoring technology platforms.
A critical thinker with a solid understanding of how to build scalable, maintainable, and high-performance platforms.
Relevant experience leading software implementation and a solid understanding of how to drive modern engineering practices while fostering collaboration.
The ability to articulate complex technical problems and their solutions simply to senior product and technology stakeholders across the organisation.
Ability to understand and anticipate business needs to provide appropriate architecture guidance and participate in the architecture assurance of solution designs in your domain.
Knowledge of solution and data architecture frameworks, modelling tools, and data security principles relevant to the financial services and payments industry.
A desire to contribute to a strong architecture community and actively participate in the improvement of the broader architecture practice.
A Financial Services or FinTech background is highly desirable; however, we are open to candidates from other sectors with strong experience in building transactional, high-volume platforms.
