About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced
Production Manager
to take ownership of multiple residential builds from commencement through to completion. This is a key role focused on keeping projects moving, coordinating trades, reducing construction cycle times and improving overall productivity.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Manage the production of multiple residential homes from commencement through to completion.
Maintain forward planning and scheduling to ensure trades are coordinated effectively across multiple sites.
Identify delays, bottlenecks and production issues early and implement practical recovery plans.
Manage trade and supplier performance, ensuring commitments and scheduled timeframes are met.
Work closely with Supervisors and Site Staff to improve productivity, communication and accountability.
Monitor rework, defects, materials and incomplete works to ensure construction remains on track.
Report production performance, delays and upcoming requirements to Management.
Drive continuous improvement across construction systems, processes and cycle times.
Skills and Experience
Proven experience as a
Production Manager, Construction Manager, Building Manager, Construction Coordinator or similar
within residential construction.




Strong understanding of residential construction from site commencement through to completion.
Experience coordinating multiple building sites and trade contractors.
Robust scheduling, planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Excellent trade management, communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Proactive and solutions-focused approach with the confidence to hold trades and team members accountable.
Strong understanding of construction sequencing, build programs and recovery strategies.
Commitment to quality, safety, productivity and delivering excellent customer outcomes.
