About the prospect
The Compliance and Assurance Coordinator supportsFootprints' Audit & Assurance Framework through the coordination andoversight of internal assurance activities and external audit requirements.
Therole is responsible for maintaining audit readiness, coordinating evidencemanagement processes, supporting accreditation activities, and monitoring andanalysing compliance against regulatory, contractual and accreditationrequirements.
The role has primary responsibility for monitoring andactioning incoming legislative and regulatory compliance alerts, maintainingthe organisation's legislative compliance register, interpreting emergingcompliance obligations and administering the contract management system toensure contractual obligations are met and risks are assessed and escalated ina timely manner.
Working collaboratively across the organisation, the roleprovides assurance support and advice, facilitates external audits and accreditationassessments, and assists leaders to understand and demonstrate compliance withorganisational and sector standards.
Success in this role requires a detail-orientated andproactive professional with strong organisational skills,



a sound understandingof quality and compliance systems, well-developed analytical and professionaljudgement capabilities, and the ability to work collaboratively acrossteams.
The ideal candidate willdemonstrate strong communication skills, integrity and an understanding ofcommunity services.
What you will bring:
Demonstrated experience coordinating orsupporting internal and external audits, including planning, evidencecollection, reporting, analysis and stakeholder advisory support.
Strong understanding of regulatory, legislativeand contractual requirements in community services (HSQS, Aged Care, MentalHealth, privacy, safety), including the ability to interpret and applyrequirements within an organisational context.
Experience monitoring regulatory and legislativechanges, assessing organisational impact and maintaining compliance registers.
Experience supporting assurance frameworks,audit programs, accreditation processes or governance activities.
Proven ability to identify compliance risks,support corrective actions and monitor implementation, including advisingstakeholders on risk mitigation strategies.
Collaborative approach to teamwork, with acapacity to support and guide others in understanding compliancerequirements.
Ability to prepare clear briefing notes,compliance summaries and audit reports, including analysis and recommendationsfor leadership audiences.




Proficient in Microsoft Office and businesssystems.
Experience using Quality Management system suchas IonMy or similar.
Previous experience in a not-for-profit,community services, health, housing, aged care or similar environment.
Requirements:
Current Queensland Class C Driver's Licence.
NDIS Worker Screening Check or current YellowCard and Blue Card.
Relevant qualification in compliance, quality,contract management, project administration or a related discipline (desirable).
