About the Role
Data tells a story.
In this role,you'llhelp shape how that story is communicated across one of Australia's leading institutional real estate platforms.
As ESG Reporting Manager,you'llplay a pivotal role in managing and enhancing QIC Real Estate's sustainability data,analytics,reportingand benchmarking activities.
Working closely with sustainability,operationsand funds management teams,you'lltransform complex environmental, social and governance (ESG) data into meaningful insights that support investment decisions, client reporting and industry-leading sustainability outcomes.
This is a 12-monthmaternity leavecontract (with the potential to extend to 18 months), offering the flexibility of a part-time arrangement, three days per week.
The position can be based in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne with hybrid working available.
Beyond traditional reporting,you'llhave the opportunity to modernise ESG data processes, drive automation initiatives, leverage tools such as Power BI, and explore how AI can create efficiencies across reporting and data management activities.
You'llwork with a highly cooperative team and gain exposure to a broad range of stakeholders across operations, sustainability, utilities providers,clientsand industry bodies.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing ESG data collection,analysisand reporting across environmental and social sustainability metrics,andsupporting third partyassurance processes.
Supporting industry reporting and benchmarking requirements including GRESB, NGERS, NABERS, Green Star and other sustainability frameworks.
Providing ESG insights forinternal andexternal stakeholdersandassistingwith the preparation ofcommittee papers,



clientreportsandpresentations.
Monitoring data qualityand completeness,identifyinginconsistencies and partnering with stakeholders to resolve issues.
Supporting sustainability strategy initiatives and helping deliver meaningful ESG outcomes across the real estate portfolio.
Staying abreast of emerging sustainability reporting trends,frameworksand industry developments.
About You
You'renaturally curious about data and passionate about sustainability.
You enjoy uncovering insights, solving complexproblemsand bringing structure to large volumes of information.
You combine strong analytical capability with exceptional attention to detail and are comfortable working across multiple systems,stakeholdersand reporting deadlines.
Equally at ease analysing datasets orassistingwith thepreparation ofexecutive-level papers,you'reable to translate technical information into clear, meaningful narratives.
You'llthrive in this role ifyou'resomeone who:

Minimum two years' experience in ESG, sustainability reporting, ESG analytics,



responsibleinvestmentor a similar data-focused role.
Experience workingwith,utilities,energy,carbonor environmental performance metrics.
Advanced analytical and data management capabilities with strong attention to detail.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience deliveringaccuratereporting outcomes.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop reports,presentationsand stakeholder communications.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Proven stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to build trusted relationships across diverse teams.
A passion for sustainability and creating positive environmental and social outcomes.
Desired Criteria
Experience within real estate, property,infrastructureor the broader built environment sector.
Knowledge of sustainability frameworks and reporting standards such as GRESB, NGERS, NABERS, Green Star, B4SI or similar.
Experience with Power BI, data visualisationtoolsor reporting automation.
Exposure to ESG assurance,benchmarkingor sustainability performance programs.
Understanding ofbuildings-relatedenvironmentalperformancemetrics.
Tertiary qualifications in sustainability, environmental science, business,economicsor a related discipline.
Interest inleveragingtechnology,automationand AI to improve reporting and operational efficiency.
