Overview
CSL Australia is currently looking for a permanent full time Second Engineer to join our cement carrier Goliath on a roster schedule 6 weeks on and 6 weeks off.
This operation is based in the Bass Strait.
Reporting to the First Engineer, the Second Engineeris responsible forthe maintenance of the main engine auxiliary engines.

How will you contribute to our success?
The Second Engineer willbe responsible for:
The secure operation of the main enginein accordance withClass and StandingOrders;
Safe operation of the boilerin accordance withClass and StandingOrders;
Performing day work in conjunction with a rotating24 hoursystem of GearTurn;
Any other duties asrequired.
The skills you will bring to our team
Basic Requirements
Educational requirement: as per AMSA Marine Order 72 – Engineer Class 2 (required)
AMSA Engineer (Class 2) CoC/CoRUnlimited
Minimum 3 years sea time as an Engine Watchkeeper(required)
Certificate of Safety Training (STCW)(desirable)
Work Safely at Heights Certification(desirable)




Enter and Work in Confined Space Certification(desirable)
Hold, or be eligible to obtain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC)(required)
Australian Citizen or unlimited Australian Working Rights
