About The Role
We're looking for multiple experienced B2 Aircraft Maintenance Engineers with a strong understanding of avionic digital systems and practical rotary-wing maintenance experience to step into the role of Instructor - Delivery and Assessment in Townsville on a full-time basis.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to train and inspire the next generation of aircraft maintenance engineers, including those working on the AH-64E Apache helicopters.
You'll independently lead theory and practical instruction within your trade stream while providing exceptional support to students and stakeholders.
While previous training or mentoring experience will be highly regarded, it's not essential – just bring your technical knowledge, growth mindset, and passion for aviation.
Essential Requirements
Demonstrated practical rotary-wing aircraft maintenance experience
Knowledge of avionic digital systems and components
A Certificate IV or Diploma in Aeroskills (Avionics), or equivalent avionics trade qualification
A current CASA or DASR B2 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence is preferred; however, suitably qualified unlicensed avionics engineers are also encouraged to apply
Willingness to learn, grow and obtain a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
Ability to work both autonomously and within a small, close-knit team
Well-developed problem-solving skills and solid organisation skills
Enthusiastic attitude with a passion for aviation
