About the Role
Lead the future of digital innovation and customer experience at Yarra City Council. As Chief Information Officer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the organisation's customer-first digital transformation, leveraging technology, data and innovation to enhance service delivery, improve organisational performance and support better outcomes for our community.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking a contemporary and strategic technology leader who can drive organisation-wide transformation and position Yarra City Council for the future. Reporting into the General Manager – Corporate Services, you will be a trusted adviser to the Executive Leadership Team,



combining strategic vision with operational excellence to deliver technology solutions that create meaningful value for our community.
The Ideal Candidate
You are a contemporary digital leader who combines strategic thinking, technology expertise and people leadership with a strong commitment to public value.
You have successfully led digital transformation in a complex organisation and understand the opportunities and challenges associated with technology-enabled change. You bring strong political awareness, excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence decisions at executive and governance levels.
