The Role
Our Queensland Water Resources business continues to grow, supported by a strong and secure pipeline of work. We are seeking an Experienced or Senior Drainage Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team, working on a diverse portfolio of water and transport‐related projects across Queensland and the wider ANZ business.
With 4+ years' experience, you will play a key role in:
Designing innovative and compliant drainage systems for civil infrastructure projects
Leading and coordinating drainage design components to meet project and client requirements
Partnering with Principal Engineers on large‐scale, complex projects and owning your deliverables
Preparing high‐quality technical design reports and drawing packages
About You
You are an experienced drainage engineer from an engineering consultancy environment, with a strong technical foundation and a passion for delivering quality outcomes and building trusted client relationships.




You will have:
A degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Bachelor or Master's)
4+ years' experience in drainage design, ideally on transport or major infrastructure projects
Robust knowledge of Austroads guidelines, standards and specifications
Hands‐on capability in stormwater and drainage design, including open channels, culverts, pit and pipe systems
Proficiency in 12D, DRAINS and MUSIC
Experience with dynamic drainage in 12D and/or TUFLOW (desirable)
A positive, collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills
A passion for technical excellence, innovation and continuous improvement
