Due to continued growth, Scope HSEQ is looking for an experienced and motivated HSEQ Advisor to join our team in West Perth.
This is an excellent opportunity for an HSEQ professional who enjoys variety, working directly with clients and helping businesses develop practical, effective and compliant management systems.
Working across a diverse portfolio of Perth-based clients, you will provide hands-on HSEQ consulting support, with a strong focus on the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of Integrated Management Systems aligned with ISO ****, ISO ***** and ISO *****.
The role is based from our West Perth head office and involves regular travel to client workplaces across the Perth metropolitan area. There is no FIFO or remote site work required.
About the Role
As a HSEQ Advisor, you will manage and support a portfolio of clients across a range of industries. You will work closely with client representatives to understand their operations, identify areas for improvement and provide practical HSEQ solutions tailored to their business.
Your responsibilities will include:
Developing, implementing and maintaining client HSEQ and Integrated Management Systems.
Supporting clients to achieve and maintain compliance with ISO ****, ISO ***** and ISO *****.
Conducting management system Gap Analysis Audits and preparing professional audit reports.
Developing and maintaining internal audit programs and conducting internal audits.
Supporting clients through external certification and surveillance audits.
Developing customised HSEQ documentation tailored to client's operations, including policies, procedures, registers, management plans and supporting system documentation.
Facilitating client meetings, workshops and management system reviews.
Developing and managing project schedules to ensure agreed deliverables and milestones are achieved.
Monitoring project progress, budgets and deliverables and proactively identifying potential issues or delays.
Providing practical HSEQ advice and support to clients.
Maintaining accurate client records, project documentation, status reports and timesheets.
Collaborating with our Senior HSEQ Advisors and broader consulting team to share knowledge, resources and best-practice approaches.
Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor qualifications in one or more of the following standards will be highly regarded:
o ISO **** – Quality Management Systems
o ISO ***** – Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems
Strong, articulate communication skills, with the ability to adapt your style across a range of audiences and settings, and enjoyment of working across a variety of industries and sectors
Strong written communication skills and the ability to develop clear, professional HSEQ documentation.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
The ability to manage multiple clients, projects and competing priorities.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide practical, commercially appropriate HSEQ solutions.
Competency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
About You
We are looking for someone who is confident working directly with clients and can effectively manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
A Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Health, Safety, Workplace, Quality or a related discipline, or be working towards a relevant postgraduate qualification.
A minimum of 2 years' experience working with HSEQ management systems is highly desirable.
Practical knowledge and experience working with ISO ****, ISO ***** and/or ISO *****.
Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor qualifications in one or more of the following standards will be highly regarded:
