Senior Chemistry Teacher
for a
12-month contract
, commencing immediately.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and supportive science faculty within a school known for strong academic outcomes, clear systems, and a team-oriented staff culture. The successful candidate will be confident teaching senior Chemistry and comfortable delivering some content in an online or blended learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality Chemistry lessons across senior year levels
Plan and implement engaging lessons aligned with the Australian Curriculum and senior syllabi
Create a positive, structured learning environment that supports student engagement and achievement
Use a range of assessment and feedback strategies to support student progress
Work collaboratively within the science faculty and broader school community
Adapt teaching approaches to suit both face-to-face and online delivery formats
Requirements
Current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration or eligibility
Confidence using digital platforms and online teaching tools
Strong communication and classroom management skills
Commitment to professional growth and reflective practice
