Role Title: Registered Nurse, Anesthetics and Recovery
Role Type: Casual
Department and Location: Anaesthetics and Recovery, The Mater Hospital, North Sydney
Salary Range: ************* AUD base per hour
About The Role
The purpose of the role of a Registered Nurse is to ensure the clinical care of patients at the Mater Hospital is provided in a person-centred care manner, within the philosophy, mission and values of St Vincent's health Australia. A Registered Nurse is responsible for ensuring that all patient care delivered is done so within the scope of practice of the Registered Nurse and by adhering to policies and procedures of the Mater Hospital and St Vincent's health Australia (SVHA).
About You
Valid registration with AHPRA.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
Previous Anaesthetic and/or Recovery experience.
Demonstrate a commitment to providing patient centred care.
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
Willingness to do call.
Sound knowledge of Department of Health Guidelines and Regulations, Workplace Health and Safety, Infection Control and their impact on the delivery of care.

About The Mater
In this role you will be based at the Mater hospital, North Sydney.



One of Sydney's premier private hospitals. Close by to train stations at North Sydney, St Leonards, and Crows Nest, and buses on Pacific Highway. The only Australian hospital that is a member of the International Society of Orthopaedic Centres. Core specialties include obstetrics, orthopaedics including hip and knee joint replacements, bone and sports injuries, cardiology, cancer care and surgery, lung and vascular medicine, ear, nose and throat surgery, urology, endocrine surgery, and neurosurgery.
