We are seeking Clinic Transport Officers for permanent full-time or part-time positions across multiple metropolitan locations. To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must be available to attend a mandatory four-week induction program commencing on Monday, 9 November ****.

Reporting to the Team Manager or Senior Team Manager, Clinic Transport Officers work Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 8:00pm on 10-hour shifts, with one weekend rostered every three weeks.
As a Clinic Transport Officer with Ambulance Victoria, you will play an important role in supporting patients throughout their healthcare journey by safely transporting pre- and post-hospital walking and wheelchair patients. You will help ensure patients reach their destination safely, comfortably and with dignity while contributing to positive health outcomes and service excellence.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing safe, respectful and effective care during patient transport.




Responding promptly to allocated cases and supporting efficient service delivery.
Completing patient care documentation accurately and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Conducting safe vehicle operations and maintaining vehicles and equipment to Ambulance Victoria standards.
Delivering effective patient handovers and communicating professionally with patients, healthcare providers and stakeholders.
Promoting a safe workplace through compliance with policies, procedures and safety requirements.
ABOUT YOU
Successful completion of the Certificate III in Non-Emergency Patient Transport, or one of the following equivalent ambulance qualifications: Qualified Ambulance Paramedic, Diploma of Emergency Health Care, Bachelor of Health Science, or a Paramedicine Degree.
Current Victorian Driver Licence.
Minimum 100 hours of on-road clinical experience completed within a two-year period (desirable).
Demonstrated understanding of the Scope of Practice, Clinical Practice Guidelines and regulatory requirements relevant to the Clinic Transport Officer role.

INFORMATION
Successful applicants will be required to: Hold valid and current unrestricted Australian work rights.
Drive and operate any of AV's operational fleet.
Attend a mandatory four-week induction program in metropolitan Melbourne commencing Monday 9 November ****.
Reside within approximately ***** minutes of the advertised work location to support fatigue management requirements.
