The
HSEQ Lead
is a key and critical role requiring subject matter expertise to champion, guide and advise stakeholders on health, safety, environment and quality. You'll contribute to fostering a safety culture tailored to a multi‐disciplinary site operations and functional workforce. Working within an agile business environment, the role offers scope to work across HR & People Support activities. Day to day you will:
Work closely with the MD and Operations
Develop, implement and continuously improve HSEQ policies, systems and programs
Stay updated and monitor changes in HSEQ legislation and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance
Conduct site audits, advise and coach leaders on compliance, internal standards, PPE requirements and quality standards
Lead incident investigations, ensure accurate reporting and support preventative actions
Oversee risk assessments, emergency response plans and environmental impact monitoring




Manage and maintain the IMS leading on internal and external audit activities
Support workers' compensation and rehabilitation processes
People & HR Support
Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning activities
Facilitate employee training and capability‐building activities
Assist with roster management and general HR administration
To be successful in this role, you'll bring
An approach to stakeholder engagement based on building trusted relationships, coaching and influencing best practice HSEQ initiatives
Qualifications in Safety and/or HR
Knowledge of HSEQ legislation and regulationsExperience in a similar HSEQ role, with a willingness to take on the People & HR support responsibilities
Construction, civil or mining industry experience or aligned
Strong communication, planning and organisational skills
Blue-White Card (advantageous)
