Kier Group is currently seeking a dedicated Site Engineer to join our team on the Sizewell C Project, based out of Ransomes Europark in Ipswich and the surrounding Suffolk area. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of £46,511 per year, with working hours typically set at 45 hours per week. We appreciate that flexibility is important, so we are open to discussing working hours preferences with candidates during the conversation process. In this energetic position, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our construction activities. Your primary focus will be to provide accurate setting out, robust engineering control, and comprehensive technical support across a defined section of the works. Collaborating closely with the wider project team, you will help ensure that all engineering operations are executed safely, efficiently, and in strict accordance with project specifications and quality standards.
Key responsibilities for the Site Engineer role typically include:




Performing precise setting out and engineering measurement for construction tasks.
Maintaining rigorous engineering control and records throughout the project lifecycle.
Providing technical support and guidance to site teams and subcontractors.
Interpreting drawings, designs, and technical specifications to resolve site queries.
Ensuring all works comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Collaborating with project managers and quantity surveyors to track progress and address challenges.
