About the Opportunity
We are partnering with a prominent, rapidly expanding Tier 2 engineering, construction, and maintenance specialist delivering complex infrastructure across the energy, utilities, and resources sectors.
Main Responsibilities & Key Result Areas
End-to-End Bid Management: Drive the full lifecycle of complex tender submissions from initial receipt through to final submission and handover.
Strategy & Win Themes: Develop and implement winning bid strategies, customer value propositions, and differentiators to secure new business opportunities.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Lead internal technical, commercial, and legal teams alongside external stakeholders to gather robust inputs and align with strict client requirements.
Governance & Compliance: Ensure all tender submissions maintain strict compliance with technical, commercial, and company governance standards under tight deadlines.
Commercial Positioning: Craft compelling, competitive, and commercially sound proposals that reflect deep technical knowledge of electrical systems.
Stakeholder & Supplier Engagement: Cultivate strong relationships with client procurement teams, internal estimators, and key subcontractors.
Continuous Improvement: Drive ongoing refinement of bid processes,
templates, and evaluation tools.
We are seeking a seasoned bid professional with a technical electrical background and a proven history of managing high-value tenders within the engineering and construction sectors.
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
Essential: 6+ years' experience in a dedicated Project Management and/or Bid Management role, ideally within the electrical construction, power infrastructure, or heavy engineering industry.
Essential: Formal technical background in Electrical Engineering or related electrical trades/disciplines.
Essential: Practical knowledge of electrical project planning, estimating, and risk analysis.
Essential: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-stakes bids simultaneously under tight timeframes.
Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication, negotiation, and cross-functional stakeholder management abilities.
