We are currently seeking an experienced Lead Delivery Manager to join a major Federal Government agency on a full-time basis in Barton, South Canberra.
Working within the Infrastructure & Operational Support Branch, this pivotal role will oversee the delivery of Managed ICT services, acting as the primary point of contact and driving service excellence across key operational initiatives.
In this agile leadership position, you will be responsible for guiding delivery teams, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring that technical services are aligned with agency objectives and service level agreements. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your leadership capabilities within a prominent government environment.
Key responsibilities typically associated with this role include:
Overseeing the end-to-end delivery of Managed ICT services and operational support functions.
Acting as the primary liaison between the agency, internal stakeholders, and external service providers.




Monitoring service performance, identifying areas for continuous improvement, and resolving complex delivery issues.
Managing project schedules, resources, and budgets to ensure successful outcomes.
Ensuring compliance with relevant government frameworks, security policies, and industry standards.
Leading, mentoring, and supporting multidisciplinary teams to achieve high performance.
To be successful in this position, you will bring a strong background in ICT service delivery, project management, and stakeholder engagement, ideally within the public sector or complex enterprise environments. Your ability to navigate competing priorities and drive strategic outcomes will be essential.
