The Opportunity
An experienced Senior Accountant – Business Services is sought to take responsibility for a portfolio of clients and provide a comprehensive range of accounting, taxation and business services.
You'll enjoy:
Managing your own portfolio of SME and individual clients
Preparing financial statements, tax returns and BAS
Providing practical accounting and taxation advice
Preparing and managing client budgets
Working directly with clients and developing genuine relationships
Having autonomy over your workload while being supported by an experienced team
Working collaboratively in a friendly, respectful and professional environment
About You
You will ideally have:
A tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related discipline
5+ years' experience in Australian public practice accounting
CA, CPA or IPA qualification, or be working towards one — beneficial but not essential




Strong experience preparing financial statements, tax returns and BAS
Experience working with a range of business structures, including self-managed-superfunds and individual clients
Experience with Xero, XPM, FYI and BGL360 advantageous
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
A proactive and professional approach
High levels of integrity and attention to detail
The ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a team
