Overview
AWS is looking for exceptional Construction Security Assurance Officers to assist with the management and delivery of project security requirements on upcoming high-security projects. These are site-based roles, responsible for supporting physical security operations in line with client security requirements and project security plans. The role requires the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, communicate clearly and deliver strong outcomes while supporting both internal and external stakeholders.

The role
Working as part of the AWS Infrastructure Operations – Physical Security team,



you will assist with the management and delivery of project security requirements throughout the construction phase of secure facilities.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting physical security operations in office
Assisting with security assurance inspections and compliance activities
Monitoring and responding to security incidents and issues
Liaising with project stakeholders and client representatives
Supporting reporting, documentation and risk mitigation activities
Maintaining compliance with project security requirements and security plans
Skills and experience
Experience in physical security or security management
Minimum 2 years' experience in a Physical Security Operations role
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
Experience in high-security environments highly regarded
Construction or infrastructure project experience desirable
Understanding of the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) desirable
Requirements
Australian Citizenship required
Must hold, or be eligible to obtain, an Australian Government Security Clearance
Ability to successfully complete an Organisational Suitability Assessment
Ability to work in a site-based construction environment
Ability to maintain relevant security clearances and accreditations as required for the project
