The Chance
An exciting chance is available for a Software Engineer to join a global organisation operating within the medical technology sector.
Working within a collaborative Product Development team, you will help build and maintain modern healthcare software solutions used by clinicians, researchers and healthcare professionals globally.
This is an excellent opportunity for a software engineer who enjoys solving technical problems, working with modern technologies and contributing to products that have a meaningful impact on healthcare and patient outcomes.
You'll work across a contemporary technology stack including .NET/C#, Vue.js, TypeScript, Python, cloud technologies and microservices, while collaborating with experienced engineers, product managers, UX and quality specialists.
What You'll Be Doing
Designing, developing, testing and maintaining web applications and backend services
Developing solutions using .NET, C#, Vue.js, TypeScript and Python
Building and enhancing microservices and REST APIs
Contributing to customer-facing applications and backend platform services
Writing clean, maintainable and well-tested code
Investigating and resolving software defects, performance issues and production incidents
Participating in code reviews and technical design discussions
Collaborating with Product Management, QA, UX and other engineering teams
Supporting CI/CD pipelines and software deployment activities




Participating in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups and retrospectives
Contributing to technical documentation and knowledge sharing
Supporting the ongoing development of cloud-native and scalable software solutions
About You
We're looking for a motivated Software Engineer who is passionate about technology, enjoys solving problems and wants to continue developing their technical capability.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline
Commercial software development experience
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
Experience with C#, .NET, Java, Python, JavaScript or similar modern programming languages
Understanding of web application development
Familiarity with source control tools such as Git
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
A commitment to writing high-quality, reliable software
Highly Regarded

REST APIs and microservices architecture
Azure, AWS or Google Cloud
SQL and relational databases
