The Opportunity: Executive Support Officer with Real-World Impact
Ready to be an Executive Support Officer in an environment unlike any other? The Ravenhall Correctional Centre, Victoria's largest prison for adult males, is seeking a dynamic
Executive Support Officer
to become a key member of our Executive team.
This is more than an administration role; it's a critical position that delivers high level support to the General Manager in coordinating daily diary activity, managing the interface between the General Manager and stakeholders, scheduling appointments, preparing communication and reporting templates. You will operate within the unique operational setting of a correctional facility, working with a team committed to safety, rehabilitation, and community outcomes.
If you thrive on complexity, confidentiality, and providing high-quality, professional executive support, this is your chance to make a lasting difference to our people and, by extension, to the community we serve.
As the Executive Support Officer, you will orchestrate the administrative functions of the Executive Office:
Provide high-level administrative support, including diary management, travel arrangements, and meeting coordination.
Prepare and review correspondence, reports, and briefing materials with accuracy and confidentiality.
Act as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring professional and timely communication.
Manage sensitive information with discretion and maintain strict confidentiality.
Assist with project coordination, data analysis, and reporting to support operational and strategic initiatives.
Monitor deadlines and ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
Support key functions, such as Compliance and Performance and Human Resources, to ensure integrated, best practice service delivery.
Is This You? Your Essential Skills for Success

Demonstrated experience in executive or senior administrative support roles.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant systems.
Knowledge of correctional services or government operations is desirable but not essential.
Our Unique Setting: Ravenhall Correctional Centre

with a specialised focus on people who are Aboriginal, and those with complex mental health needs. Its unique campus-style design underpins GEO's
