Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced
Senior Accountant
to join their
Business Services
division. This role is ideal for a technically strong accountant looking to take the next step in their career, working closely with Managers and Partners on a varied client portfolio across multiple industries.
Main Duities:
Prepare and review financial statements, income tax returns, and BAS/IAS for a range of clients including companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals
Manage a portfolio of clients directly, building and maintaining strong client relationships
Provide business advisory services including cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and tax planning
Review the work of junior staff and provide mentoring/on-the-job training
Liaise with the ATO and other regulatory bodies on client matters




Assist Managers/Partners with more complex advisory and structuring work
Ensure all work is completed accurately and within agreed timeframes and budgets
About You:
CA/CPA qualified (or actively working towards completion)
Minimum 4-5 years' experience in a public practice/business services environment
Strong technical knowledge of Australian tax law, financial reporting, and compliance requirements
Experience with cloud accounting software (Xero/MYOB)
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
A proactive, detail-oriented approach with robust problem-solving skills
Genuine interest in mentoring and developing junior team members
