About the role
TheirCare Plus is expanding into Queensland, and this is a brand-new Area Manager opportunity supporting our exciting growth across the state. We are looking for an experienced leader based in the Brisbane area who is happy to travel across both Brisbane and the Gold Coast as we establish our NDIS services. As we continue to grow, the intention will be to eventually split the Brisbane and Gold Coast regions, creating further opportunity for this role to evolve alongside the business.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building something from the ground up, can work autonomously, show initiative and take ownership, and has a genuine interest in being part of something new and exciting. You'll have the opportunity to help shape how TheirCare Plus operates in Queensland, build strong relationships within the community and play a key role in our continued expansion.
As an experienced leader from the disability, NDIS, community services, allied health, education, childcare or broader operations sector, you may be ready to take the next step in your career.
As an Area Manager – NDIS Services, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across a portfolio of TheirCare Plus NDIS services, supporting Service Coordinators and Disability Support Workers to deliver protected, high-quality and person-centred programs.
You will be responsible for driving service quality, compliance, people capability, participant outcomes and operational performance across your region. You will coach and mentor your teams, build strong stakeholder relationships and ensure our services consistently meet the needs of participants, families and their care teams.
This is a senior leadership role where you will have the autonomy to identify opportunities,



solve problems and drive continuous improvement across your portfolio.
You will report to an experienced Operations Manager and work closely with our broader Operations, Quality, Compliance and Support teams.
The successful applicant will be required to travel across Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
What you need to succeed
A strong desire to make a meaningful difference for children and young people with disability
Experience leading teams and driving high-quality service delivery
A passion for continuous improvement, quality and compliance
Strong understanding of person-centred practice and participant choice and control
The ability to build capability, develop leaders and unlock the potential of your teams
Strong communication and relationship-building skills across families, schools, care teams and external stakeholders
A proactive, resilient and solutions-focused approach with the ability to manage competing priorities
About your new role
Lead and oversee the operational performance of multiple TheirCare Plus NDIS services
Coach, mentor and develop Service Coordinators and Disability Support Workers
Ensure services deliver high-quality, person-centred support aligned with participant goals and individualised support plans
Drive compliance with the NDIS Practice Standards, NDIS Code of Conduct, relevant legislation and TheirCare Plus policies
Oversee staffing, rostering, ratios, funding, budgets, risk and service resources across your portfolio
Build strong relationships with participants, families, schools,



allied health professionals and children's care teams
Drive continuous improvement, quality, safeguarding, positive behaviour support and participant outcomes across your region
Experience and Qualifications
We are looking for an experienced leader who may come from a range of backgrounds, including NDIS, disability, community services, allied health, education, childcare or multi-site operations.
You will ideally have:
Previous experience in a leadership, management or multi-site operational role
Experience working within the disability, NDIS, community services, education, childcare or related sectors
Strong understanding of person-centred practice, participant rights and safeguarding
Understanding of NDIS Practice Standards and the NDIS Code of Conduct, or the ability to quickly develop this knowledge
Demonstrated experience leading, coaching and developing teams, with strong stakeholder management skills
Relevant qualification in Disability, Individual Support, Community Services, Allied Health, Social Work, Education, Early Childhood or a related field is desirable
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, First Aid/CPR and driver's licence, or willingness to obtain required checks and qualifications
