you will provide high-quality emergency and first aid care at community events and public gatherings supported by St John.You will play an important role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of attendees by responding to medical incidents, providing early intervention, and supporting event organisers to maintain a safe environment.We offer flexible shifts to fit around your lifestyle, study, or family commitments.
Whether you're seeking to complement another role, build experience in a dynamic event environment, or simply want to give back in a meaningful way, this role offers the perfect balance of purpose and flexibility.If you're a Registered Paramedic ready to take your skills into real-world settings while helping to keep communities safe, we'd love to hear from you.Key Responsibilities:Deliver healthcare services to patients in accordance with your clinical scope of practiceAccurately document patients assessed with a Patient Care Record (PCR) within designated timeframesConduct active patrols at events, including risk assessment, hazard identification and escalation, and early intervention for vulnerable individualsManage and respond to calls via the designated radio systemsYou will:Have a minimum 6-month practised Paramedicine experienceHold an unrestricted AHPRA RegistrationPossess a current Working with Children Check and current Criminal Record CheckDemonstrate the ability to build trusting relationships in a minimal amount of timeCommunicate information, both verbally and in writing, clearly, concisely,
